Important Information About Making Mandatory EFT Payments – Please Read
In December 2009, the Utah State Tax Commission will replace our existing sales EFT payer "Electronic Payment System" with a new e-services system we call Taxpayer Access Point or TAP1. There are many new benefits, including a simpler, more enriched online experience. Here are some highlights:
In Taxpayer Access Point (TAP), you can:
- Make payments
- Schedule future payments
- File and amend tax returns
- Manage accounts
- Check refunds
- See account balances
- View correspondence
- Request a payment plan or waiver of penalty and interest, plus much more . . .
Note: In December 2009, TAP will replace the "Electronic Payment System" currently used by mandatory EFT payers.

Make a sales tax EFT payment using the current "Electronic Payment System"
This service assists mandatory EFT payers in the online payment of sales taxes. You must pre-register and receive a PIN to use this system. Please contact the Tax Commission at 801-297-3817 for registration and more information. (The "Electronic Payment System" will be valid until mid-December, 2009 when TAP will replace EPS)
